The Hunting Lodge Hotel's outstanding whisky bar stocks over 500 fine expressions of Malt Whisky. Situated around 9 miles from Campbeltown on the Kintyre peninsular, the Hotel looks out on to the shore with unspoilt views over the Atlantic Ocean to the Islands of Islay, Gigha, and Jura. The owner and manager, Stiubhard has drunk and collected whisky for as long as he can remember (or probably longer) and has built up personal contacts at many distilleries. The amazing array of whisky stocks held in the bar and cellar allows him to give the connoisseur or first time buyer a guided whisky tour from the comfort of their seats. The Hunting Lodge Hotel even has it's own bottling of a Springbank 15yo! "..The knowledge of each bottle and its taste allows me to guide clients along the route of their chosen paths with whiskies ranging from most of Springbank’s products to special edition 28 yr old Highland Park and 1940 Macallan." says Stiubhard.
